ABINGDON, Va. -- ’Round the Mountain: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network (RTM) is pleased to sponsor a food drive to benefit the pantry of Ecumenical Faith in Action.
RTM will accept food donations November 1-15, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Items may be delivered to the RTM offices downstairs in Heartwood, One Heartwood Circle, Abingdon, Va., Exit 14, I-81.
Items most needed included the following canned foods: green beans, peas, soups, fruit, and corn. Canned meat and jars of peanut butter are also welcome. Other acceptable items include boxes of macaroni and cheese, rice, and other shelf-stable foods. Please do not bring home-canned items, food in glass jars, and fresh or frozen products.
